Chinese Style Fried Vermicelli

A simple and easy to prepare delicious meal, free from MSG. This is a simple Chinese style fried vermicelli and takes less than 30 minutes to get it cooked and ready to eat...steaming hot! Great isnt it, and most importantly everyone have a good and happy meal :))

All you need: serve 5

  • 3 pieces of vermicelli - soak for 20 minutes
  • 150 gm prawns
  • 1 pc of chicken breast meat
  • 2 stalks of green leafy vegetable
  • 50 gm beansprout
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 Tbs fish sauce
  • 2 Tbs light soy sauce
Simple Process :

1. Heat the wok and saute the chopped garlic till aromatic
2. Add in the prawns and chicken meat and stir fry till prawns turn pink and meat turns white
3. Add in 1/4 cup of water, fish sauce, light soy sauce and allow it to simmer for 3 minutes
4. Drop in the soaked vermicelli and green vegetables and cover the lid of wok, lower the heat for 5 mins
5. Lightly stir to mix the vermicelli with the ingredients for the next 3 minutes
6. Lastly add in the beansprouts and stir to mix well till beansprout soften for the next 3 minutes.
7. Ready to Serve
